Mauro Ranallo took to social media Monday to thank his fans and vow that he will return to pro wrestling broadcasts, despite a messy divorce with WWE which has included a bullying scandal directed at Ranallo’s former SmackDown Live announce team partner John Bradshaw Layfield.
Despite a statement from WWE which stated Ranallo’s contract runs through August, CBS Sports reported last week that Ranallo was not expected back on WWE TV again.
Ranallo returned to MMA announcing this weekend with his former partner Frank Shamrock, calling Rizin FF 5 in Yokohama, Japan.
Here’s his tweet about ongoing developments with his career:
You should! Join me for #BertoPorter Saturday on @ShowtimeBoxing & you best believe I’ll be calling PRO WRESTLING again too.
